When suicide is the order of the day who can assure you of the perfect, painless ending? In the case of Walter and Celia Bryce, the question is: what is the order of the day? Could the arrival of a Samaritan, at the Bryce country home demonstrate a lack of certainty as to their intentions? The question is who wants to commit suicide? Or should the question be "who wants who to commit suicide?" Who has the best interests of Celia at heart? Add in a rubber plant and a stoker from HMS Belfast and it gives you a black comedy at its blackest and its best.

Trinity Theatre are putting on the popular, moving and funny play Calendar Girls by Tim Firth. The run starts with a gala fund-raising performance in aid of Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research on Saturday 1st September and continues with performances on 6th, 7th, 8th, 13th, 14th, 15th.
